MANTS 2008 – A Summary

If it’s January, it must be MANTS!

MANTS 2008 held January 9-11 at the Baltimore Convention Center, featured 950 exhibiting companies in 1500 booths and once again hosted over 12,200 paid registrants.  In addition, our housing bureau, hosted by the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitor’s Association booked over 5,600 room nights at 10 local area hotels, a 5% increase over the 2008 show.

MANTS provides our industry with one of the premier, private marketplaces for finding plants and nursery stock, landscape and garden items, heavy and light duty equipment, tools, furniture and hundreds of other allied industry products.  The show is about meeting customers and making contacts, filling orders and greeting friends, and seeing the latest and greatest.  We know that companies’ exhibit and industry members attend because MANTS means business.

We know that there is no one single person, group or reason for our continued success and to that end, we wish to thank all of our exhibitors, sponsors, attendees and allied business partners who continue to make MANTS - The Masterpiece of Trade Shows TM.   We also wish to recognize the dedication and collaborative efforts of our staging and floor staff, Five Star Convention Decorating, the Baltimore Convention Center, the Baltimore Convention and Visitor’s Association and all who work tirelessly and continue to support us behind the scenes.  We could not ask for a better team to work with … Thank you!

MANTS 2009 will be held January 7 - 9 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

2009 Exhibitors will receive updates as warranted and their complete Exhibitor Packet will be mailed in late summer with on-line registration available around this time as well.  Attendee Information, including on-line registration, guests’ accommodations and show information will be available by early October 2008.

Thanks again for your continued support of the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show.

MANTS is a registered trade show corporation sponsored equally by the State Nursery and Landscape Associations of Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia
